Introduction

Hello! My name is Hava, and I am studying abroad in Norwich, England, for the fall 2024 semester. I am attending the University of East Anglia from September 11th to December 14th. I am here to earn my honors capstone and my international communication minor. At my home school, Northern Arizona University, I am in my last year earning my journalism degree. Here at UEA, my classes are Documentary, Media Representation and Big Questions for People and Planet. So far I am considering joining archery, mountaineering and cocktail clubs. I am living in an on-campus accommodation with first years and one other visiting international student. 

Besides class credits, there's a lot I hope to gain from the study abroad experience. I have heard a lot of people say how studying abroad changed their perspective on life and gave them a newfound appreciation. I am also searching for that and more. I want to learn as much as I can about everything. I want to learn how other places are different than the United States. I want to immerse myself in local history and culture. I want to do as much as I can during the short amount of time I am here. Cheers to new beginnings, new friends and new experiences!
